After the PhD
Thanks to the skills acquired during the PhD program, the following occupational and professional opportunities are envisaged, with fixed-term or permanent contracts:
- Managers of basic or translational / applied scientific research projects in the biomedical field (with particular attention to the approaches of Molecular Medicine) to be carried out in Academic or extra-academic contexts in private / public Research Bodies or Productive companies in biotechnology.
- Heads of coordination offices of the funding bodies of scientific research projects: national agencies (AIRC, Telethon, etc.) or European agencies (EU-FP7, Marie Curie Fellowships, ERC, EMBO, etc.)
- Editorial managers in national and international scientific publishing houses (eg scientific journal Editors)
- Technical managers specialized in productive companies in biotechnology, biomedical, diagnostic.
